RED WINE KITS AUSTRALIAN CABERNET SHIRAZ -
Our Cabernet Shiraz brings you some of our best offerings! This blend pronounces intense berry notes and is the trade-mark of this prized varietal blending. It is rich, deep red i colour featuring plum, raspberry and cherry notes with subtle herbs, spices and oak in the finish. Best aged 6 months. Oak 40 grams.
AUSTRALIAN SHIRAZ -
Australia's creme de la creme, (in France, it's known as Syrah). Shiraz offers a full-bodied and intense wine that is elegant and fascinating. Due to its versatility, this grape represents something different to each individual. With it's deep red color you will discover hints of prune and cherry aromas. This wine will benefit with moderate ageing. (Oak 40 grams)
BAROLO -
The Emperor of the Piemonte reds, Barolo is a big, rich and tannic wine derived from the Nebbiolo grape. It features an extraordinary range of flavors including mixed ripe fruit, field berries and fine herbs. A hearty portion of oak makes this wine perfect for ageing. Pairs well with red meats and tomato pasta dishes. (Oak 40 grams)
CABERNET SAUVIGNON -
This noble grape varietal is grown in many countries world wide. It produces a deep red, tannic wine with herbaceous and earthy aromas. Will develop a more complex bouquet with 6 months of ageing. (Oak 40 grams)
CHIANTI -
A dry, well balanced Italian red wine with floral aromas and hints of vanilla. Bright red in colour with an even roundness in the mouth.
CHILEAN MERLOT -
A soft and supple variation with powerful fruit and spicy flavors. Renowned for its ripe cherry character, the Merlot is a perfect partner for red meats, lamb, and hearty stews.
EUROPEAN MERLOT -
A dark rich grape producing a dry, smooth wine of excellent character. Its rich flavour and aroma marry earthy tones with plum and fruit flavours. Excellent young, its character develops quickly with a few months aging. 4 months recommended. (Oak 40 grams)
MONTEPULCIANO -
This wine is dark and rich. It is also tannic and deeply perfumed with excellent body and a robust bouquet. Best aged 7 months.
AUSTRALIAN PINOT NOIR -
From the cooler regions of southern Australia, this grape produces a superbly balanced wine of excellent character. Flavour and aroma hint of spicy red fruits with savoury herbal complexity on the nose. Pleasant young, will age well.
EUROPEAN PINOT NOIR -
Prized by wineries in Burgundy, France, this grape produces a superbly balanced wine of excellent character. Its flavour and aroma hint of mixed berries, medium tannin and earthy notes. It is brilliant clear red in colour and medium dry. Most pleasant young, but recommended aged 5 months. This medal wine should not just be saved for the old time red meats, it also serves well with poultry. Try it for Thanksgiving dinner!
CONVIVIAL ROUGE (Red Bourgeron) -
This wine gem is made from a blend of grapes, often including the Pinot Noir, that results in a medium-bodied, fruity wine with a distinct taste of red and black currants
VVDCR (Vieux Chateau du Roi) -
This famous Burgundy style wine is produced from a prized blend of varietals, including Petit Syrah. It boasts a rich aroma with flavours of ripe plums and field berries. This smooth, tannic and dry wine is deep cherry red in colour. Its character develops with ageing. Recommended 5 months age time. (Oak 40 grams)
CHILEAN SHIRAZ BLUSH -
Delicate floral aromas and notes of fruits of the forest make this rose both an interesting aperitif and also an excellent partner to fish and white meat dishes. As with all blushes or roses, can be consumed while young. An excellent summer sipper!
WHITE WINE KITS AUSTRALIAN CHARDONNAY -
Australian Chardonnays are lighter and fresher than those of California. They offer good acidity and will give off lemon, melon and pineapple aromas. It is well paired with any meal; try it out with seafood, salads or any fresh white fish. Australian Chardonnay can become more complex if aged well, 5 months ageing is recommended. (Oak 20 grams)
CALIFORNIA CHARDONNAY -
Like Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay has seen success throughout the world. The main reason is the grape's adaptability to various climates. This wine has aromas of apple, lemon, nuts, and vanilla, making this a superb drinking wine. It will be fresh and austere and ready to be consumed young, but this nectar is also age worthy- (Oak 20 grams)
CHALIZETTE (Chamblaise) -
This dry white wine produced from the Chardonnay grape, enchants itself with delicate floral notes and perfumes of fruits and almonds. Our Chamblaise will offer a fresh and austere wine, with a slightly light straw color. Chamblaise should be enjoyed young to capture its freshness and vividness. Great for lighter meals and sipping.
PINOT GRIGIO -
Your local Italian friend may call this Pinot Grigio, but in France they call this excellent wine Pinot Gris! A tasteful, low acid wine with a slight rose hue. It is traditionally known that the best Pinot Grigio wines are produced in the northeast of Italy.
GEWURZTRAMINER -
Originating from Germany, Gewurztraminer is a white wine with medium acidity and high aromaticness. This grape has spicy and musky aromas. It is a wine that is well structured and elegant in flavor, a wine we must all taste1 Excellent young, but this charmer could always use 5 months of ageing.
GERMAN LIEBFRAUMILCH -
Very popular German-style wine. Light, elegant & soft. Meant to be enjoyed young. A semi-sweet partner to fruit, mild cheeses, seafood & veal.
L’OR BLANC -
Made from Chardonnay grapes in the style of the great wines of Burgundy, this wine has a perfume of tropical fruits. Best served young with mild aging.
PIESPORTER -
Piesporter is usually considered a semi-dry wine. While tasting your Piesporter you will discover ripe peach, citrus and fruity floral notes. Piesporter is a noble wine that is understated. This is a must try1 Best paired with seafood and white cream sauces. This wine is best to drink young.
NEW ZEALAND PINOT BLANC -
Dry, sometimes spicy, with a fresh appley aroma. Often compared to Chardonnay, but not as complex.
SAUVIGNON BLANC -
This classic white grape gives a dry wine, heavily perfumed, with very distinctive aromas and smoky notes. This excellent wine is slightly high in acidy, yet smooth and pleasant. It's a lovely dry and thirst quenching wine. (Oak 20 grams)
VERDICCHIO -
Verdicchio is a dry white wine originating from the central Italian region of Marche. This popular North American wine is light and refreshing with a subtle bouquet. We suggest that this wine is not just for drinking in your favorite Italian restaurant, but it is a great everyday wine that deserves to be in your cellar Perfect for every meal1 Verdicchio is a wine to be enjoyed young.
