RÉSERVE DU CHÂTEAU Only hand-selected grapes of the highest quality are used in the production of Première Cuvée products. They are harvested at the peak of flavour and immediately pressed to capture their fresh character. White wines are refreshing, light gold in colour, with a delicate aroma. Red wines are smooth, full-flavoured, and rich in colour.

White European Selection
Chalizette (Chamblaise) - A dry, straw gold wine with a refreshing, clean, lightly tannic character. Its subtle floral bouquet mingles well with its citrus and fruit flavour. Perfect on a hot summer afternoon!

Gewurztraminer - Grown in North Eastern France and Germany, gewürztraminer produces a remarkable dry wine offers a spicy, fruit bouquet and bold flavour, it is pale in colour and best young.

Johannisberg Riesling - This premium dry, German style wine has delicate floral and fruit bouquet, its flavour hints of melon and citrus notes. Straw gold in colour, it is equally delicious young or aged.

Liebfraumilch - Derived primarily from Riesling and Muller-Thurgau grapes, its tight fruity bouquet and flavour offers peach and melon notes. Perfect for the person who prefers wines which are not too dry.

Piesporter - This popular German wine is enjoyed for its fresh fruit and spicy bouquet and flavour featuring peach, pear, and apple notes. Excellent young, serve well chilled.

Pinot Blanc - This classic French wine has an elegant floral bouquet which is perfectly balanced with a delicate, fruit and oak flavour. This pale golden wine is best when aged a few months.

Pinot Chardonnay - This classic European favourite offers a complex fruity bouquet, hinting of pears, apples and apricots. Brilliant light gold in colour, this wine is best served moderately chilled. A fine sipping wine which compliments any occasion.

Sauvignon Blanc - One of Europe’s most popular varietals, well balanced, this clean, crisp wine offers a fresh fragrant bouquet hinting of citrus and spice. Its dry flavour hints of oak, tart apple and mixed fruit.

Sémillion Chardonnay - This perfect marriage of complementary European varietals produces a superb dry wine with a soft, buttery flavour which hints of peach, pear and apricot. Its delicate floral perfume and pale golden colour make it pleasure to sip.

Soave - The pride of the Veneto, traditionally produced from the Garganega and Trebbiano varietals. Soave pairs well with seafood.

Verdicchio - Pale straw-gold in colour, this refined Italian style wine is the perfect dry sipping wine, its delicate fruit bouquet and subtle flavour of tart apple and ripe fruit make it perfect for all occasions.

Red European Selection
Barolo - One of Italy’s greatest wines produced primarily from Nebbiolo grapes. This deep red wine offers a complex bouquet and earthy flavour balanced with tannin, rich fruit and oak tones from added oak chips (included). This wine demands to be aged!

Marjolais (Bergamais) - This festive wine has been blended to celebrate France’s famous Vin Nouveau festival. It is brilliant red with a bold, fresh fruit bouquet and a vibrant berry and fruit flavour. Best young, its fruity character mellows into a fine wine with age.

Cabernet Sauvignon - This superstar varietal offers a complex flavour and bouquet of red currants, wild berries and spice. It is medium bodied, brilliant ruby red and well balanced. Excellent young, however, several months aging brings out its full character.

Chianti - Italy’s most popular “social” wine is to be enjoyed at any occasion. Deep red, this intense full-bodied wine will satisfy your senses with a blend of oak, plum and ripe fruit aromas.

Merlot - This rich, dark red varietal produces a dry, soft, wine of great character. Its full flavour and aroma offer earth, plum, ripe fruit and light oak tones from added oak chips (included). Best aged 3 to 6 months.

Montepulciano is one of the best wines Italy has to offer. This wine is dark and rich in color, dry, tannic and deeply perfumed with an excellent full-body. It has a robust bouquet, but let it age and it will grow to become an irresistible wine that will be a definite favorite. Best served with Italian fare or let your culinary skills create a dish to enjoy it with.

Nebbiolo - This classic Italian varietal makes an excellent wine on its own, intense red in colour, it offers a harmony of earth, tannin, ripe plum and fruit aromas. It is equally enjoyable young or aged.

Pinot Noir - This varietal is prized French red producing a delightful balanced wine of great character and complexity. Brilliant red, it hints of mixed berry, fruit and earth tones. A great sipping wine!

Shiraz - This superb varietal is gaining great popularity, being prized for its intense berry flavour and bouquet. This fine sipping wine will delight you with subtle ripe cherry, blueberry and plum notes which are at their peak while young.

Valpolicella - One of Italy’s prized wines from the northeastern region of Veneto, traditionally produced from Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella varietals. It is noted for its vibrant red colour and gentle, soft fruit flavour and bouquet.

VVDCR (Vieux Chateau du Roi) - A rich ruby red French style wine, produced from a prized blend of varietals, included Petit Syrah. It offers a superbly balanced bouquet and complex flavour of field berries, tannin, plum and oak from added oak chips (included).

White Australian Selection
Australian Chardonnay - This prized varietal features prominent buttery, pear, apple and fruit notes, with fine oak in its finish. Flavourful young, it ages into a sophisticated wine in 3 to 6 months.

Australian Riesling - A soft, supple, easy drinking wine with a fruity floral bouquet and character with hints of melon and citrus tones.

Red Australian Selection
Australian Cabernet Sauvignon - This ruby red Australian style classic wine has a distinctive berry, plum and fruit bouquet; its berry and oak notes will linger on your plate.

Australian Shiraz - The pride of Australia. This Shiraz features intense colour, mixed berry and fruit flavour and bouquet, balanced with a delightful complement of oak. Superb young, best aged a few months!
