Piccadilly Porter All Grain

Our London style Porter contains traditional British Maris Otter malt and specialty malts (crushed), UK hops, and yeast – Ready to mash in and make delicious beer ever time! Temperature and time guidelines are also included.

Porter originated in London, England, as a blend of stout & pale ale. It flourished for over two centuries before fading away to near oblivion. Revived by micros and homebrewers, this beer is dark (almost black) but not as roasty as a stout. Chocolate notes, and relatively low bitterness, make this flavourful session beer as popular today, as it was among the Hotel Porters of London’s past.

West Coast Pale Ale is different enough from its
British cousin to have gained its own designation as a “classic style”. Golden in colour, This crisp, clean beer has a floral aroma from the distinctly North American Cascade hops. Unlike British pale ales, strong fermentation characteristics (esters) are not a hallmark of this style.

Kings Royal Red Bitter All Grain

Our Red Bitter contains traditional British Maris Otter malt and specialty malts (crushed), UK hops, and yeast – Ready to mash in and make delicious beer ever time! Temperature and time guidelines are also included.

This is a typical easy drinking English Bitter. It is a great ‘session’ beer similar to those served on ‘hand pump’ in British pubs. It derives its reddish colour from a small amount of roast barley. It has a balanced yet pronounced hop bitterness, and a fresh hop aroma.

This traditional Scottish classic is similar to an English bitter with the accent more on malt than on hops. This example displays a slight “smokiness” due to the addition of a small amount of peated malt. A Scottish classic with English hops.

Old Peculiar All Grain

Our Old Peculiar contains traditional British Maris Otter malt and specialty malts (crushed), molasses, UK hops, and yeast – Ready to mash in and make delicious beer ever time! Temperature and time guidelines are also included.

This style of dark old ale originates from Theakston’s brewery in North Yorkshire, England. It has also affectionately been referred to as ‘Lunatic Broth’ due to its strength. Toffee & roast malt in the mouth; hints of ‘rum’ with a deep bitter sweet finish and a delicate hop underpinning. Peculiar has a certain warmth due to its higher alcohol content.

Our Farmhouse ale contains German Pilsner malt and specialty malts (crushed), German hops, and yeast – Ready to mash in and make delicious beer ever time! Temperature and time guidelines are also included.

Traditionally brewed at the beginning of spring as
the cold months come to an end; Saison is a delicate blend of fruit, citrus and spice flavors. Sometimes this beer is also referred to as a “Farmhouse Ale” due to its Belgian roots of quenching the thirst of hard working farmers.
Our version has a good amount of rye to add to the natural spiciness of this unique session beer.
