This rich, full-bodied red requires long aging preferably in an oak barrel. Intense flavours of violet, rose, red cherry, truffle, and licorice mingle with traces of tar, tobacco smoke, and toasted oak with a firm acidity. Good for hearty, sit-down meals on cold nights.
This is the world’s most popular red wine! Cabernet Sauvignon is very tannic when young and must be aged at least a decade.
